Winter Warm Up
Anyone tempted to startup their baby during winter storage? I know it's not a good thing necessary to let the car idle, but man i miss hearing her fire up!

Drove it like I stole it for 3.5 hours! Temp only got to about 180F. Winter performance tires were great as always on the bends and curves. This is looking west into France from the mountains of the Black Forest. She needed a nice hot bath when I got home. Beautiful sunrise...didn't apply any effects to the picture.

Not a good idea unless you are going to get it up to operating temp. Letting a car sit for 3-4 months is no issue at all as long as you've put stabil in the gas.
If you just idle your tranny stays cold while your engine warms and even if you burn off the moisture in your engine the tranny will sweat internally. Mine would sit for 6 months at a whack while I was OCONUS and fire right back up no issues.

Got mine out for a couple decent drives last week before the blizzard. It was idling a bit high, need to look into that. I start to miss my Porsche drive when the car's put away after about 3 weeks.
