andy, good meeting you a couple weeks ago! hope that holder holds!
winder's as always is spot on, just ask him!! in all seriousness, would any dyno-tuner need the particulars of your EFI system software or the like to monitor adjustments during break & tune? maybe im over thinking this?? channeling scott here. I would think a engine dyno will, at least in the greater bay area could be your best option. but if the EFI system creator could attend a dyno session there are chassis dyno rentals available by the hour and maybe that serves you best? if to rent chassis dyno time shop around and find out what will suit your ECU mapping feedback opportunities best. it's a couple hundred or so an hour for dyno rental time where as around $2k for a motor dyno at the shop many would suggest.

Hi Andy -
Find Ralph Willis in Salinas. He and his son have a pretty good chassis dyno. Contact me directly if you can't drum up his contact. BTW, I won't be far behind you as I'm finishing up a 2.8 with a Rasant kit as well. Best, Marc

Any really competent tuner should have no issues tuning your VE table on the Infinity. Just make sure you have good A/F and timing targets from those whom are experts with 911 builds like yours. Im sure Al can get you what you need here.
Re the VE, honestly, you could probably do everything you need with a tuner on the road if you have a place to test. A friend and I both tuned our cars with the Infinity and are probably 90% done if not better and have not been on the dyno with our cars yet. David
