"While I'm there" question
Hello Everyone,
I'm in the process of replacing my clutch along with some other things. I have few questions for you. The thermal switch behind the throttle body, PN 930-207-231-00, what is its purpose? What's its function? And should I replace it? Also, the triangle of death... there are no leaks there, but should I replace the gaskets anyways? Or should I go with "if its not broke, don't fix it" ? Let me know your thoughts. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1455726364.jpg |
I did when I did my FI refresh 2 years ago. What the heck, it not expensive and "while your in there". Also did the rubber vac lines as well and the TB O ring too.

Does it connect to a vacuum line that runs up to the oil tank vent valve? See recent post "Can this valve be bypassed?".

Quote:
One hose connected to the thermo valve loops back to the rear of the throttle body and the other connects to the vacuum for the fuel regulator and dampener. |
Are you sure? Looks like the schematic you posted may be missing some info? See below....of course this is for an 87-89....
