Question Is this part still available to buy?

Dear Friends

Does anybody knows if this spade connector housing is still available to buy and where?

Mine have a VW logo on it but it was installed in a 1978 SC

Thank you all

Porsche seems only to list one part number 999.652.142.40 which is a block of 12 that I would assume you trim to the size (single, double etc) that you need (see picture I stole from the internet below).

In my searching, they no longer list the single, double, triple as separate part numbers

I have seen the single and doubles available at VW specialists and they may even be available directly from your VW dealer.

Humm, that is similar but not the correct one, on the Porsche part one side of the wire you have a male spade and on the other you have a female spade that is connected inside the plastic cap

This one on the picture there is males bothe sides, wich will force me to cut the original spade connector and crimp a female one

Unfortunately, I think these are your only option if you want new, as Porsche has superseded all the original parts for these blocks with the male connectors on both sides in blocks of 12. Although I am pretty sure that the connectors on the original are male on both sides but I could be wrong.

See the pages taken from the catalog below, items 25 and 26. You can see that the single and double have the same part number that corresponds to the one I gave you above.

They are still available.

You need to buy the male and female spade terminals separately on their site as well.
They come in blocks of 4. Cut to suit.
