First time owner.

Hello all. I wanted to introduce myself as another newbie here. I recently purchased my first Porsche and used this forum extensively to educate myself before pulling the trigger. So far I've had a blast with it. I wanted to thank everyone here for sharing your knowledge. I'm anxious to get involved here and maybe get some questions answered as they arrive.

87 cab with factory widebody.

Welcome to the club!

I love widebody cars. Great color too.

Enjoy it!

You can't buy happiness, but you can buy car parts which is kind of the same thing.

Welcome! Very nice. By "factory", I am assuming it is an M491? If so, might want to register it with the Turbo-look Registry. Home - Turbo-Look Register

If not, still a gorgeous car. Congrats.

Yes, it is in fact M491 version. Didn't know about the registry. Thanks for letting me know about that. I knew what I wanted when made the purchase. What was important to me in my search was a particular year range (87-89) and original turbo look. I'm very happy with the cars condition. I feel like I got lucky especially since it was a long distance purchase.

Welcome aboard. I started my Porsche journey within the last 11 months, and now own 3....2 air-cooled cars. Search, learn, enjoy......it will be an amazing experience!

Yeah, we've had a couple nice rides already. Even finding roads that I didn't know existed. Only been in Austin for about 10 years. I've got my spare DME relay and belt that i've read that is a must have carry.
