Need to redo dashboard Lakewell vs Just dashes or other refinisher

Hi All,

The dark brown dash on my 83sc is cracked in a couple places and I'd like to redo as part of a window out repaint. I was thinking of purchasing a new dash from Lakewell but I've just read about Just dashes and I"m on the fence about which way to go.

My question: Why did you go one way or the other?

Thanks - Dale

Lakewell is all new in black vinyl for about $980 US plus shipping taxes duty etc.
Just dashes quoted me over $1000 3 years ago to redo mine. Not sure what their current price is.
There are others out there doing good work for less, do a little more searching. There is someone in the classifieds offering their services as well.
I ended up redoing my own for under $100.... There are DIY articles in this forum.

Check out Classic 9 Leather Shop (Rob Budd). I've used them a number of times on various projects. They produce OEM-level quality, and prices are reasonable. Search on them here and you will see lots of recommendations. They are in Michigan.

+1 for Classic9. Also George Esagian (not sure I'm spelling his name right).
