Car won't start
1988 Cab 911 About a month ago in the middle of winter car started fine. Ran it for 10 minutes and then shut it down I went to take the car out to change the oil and get it ready for spring and, no start.
Engine cranks, I smell gas, but engine fails to turn over. Tried to pump the gas while it was cranking and it failed to catch. Never had any problems before and never had to put fuel stabilizer in The only thing that I did to the car this winter was put in the headlight relay upgrade from JWEST Ok where do I start to look? Was thinking of putting in dry gas and outage booster stuff as a start Help Its Spring!!!!!!!!!! |

Was your ten minute run before or after you installed the relay? If it was after, good chance the relay install isn't the issue.
I wouldn't do anything with the fuel or additives at this point. Do you have a timing light to verify spark?

+1 Verify you have 12.5+Volts at the battery prior to start attempt.

If no spark, replace the DME relay first. If that doesn't help, check the crank reference and position sensors and connectors.
