Fuchs weird code

Hi,

I was trying to find out my Fuchs wheels size when I came across the tags shown below

Does anybody know what these codes mean?

Regards

Just in case... Those are wheel weights for balancing.

Yes wheel weights. And the next time you have the tires balanced ask the shop to place the weights on the inside of the wheel ( in two places, inside and outside) so as not to be visible. Better look imo.

Fuchs weird code

Sebscst, Avanti - Thanks for your help.

SCadaddle, rlane930 - I haven't seen/read this balance weight in my life. My apologies for wasting your time with my dumb questions.

Me to...

I do get pretty excited about vintage weights on Fuchs as originals are very rare.

Pretty certain those weights are not original. I worked in tires back then, German weights came in 5 or 10 gram sizes, not 1/4 oz.

I'm a teacher. No such thing as a dumb question. However, the 20 somethings really push the envelope.

Agree - those are not originals. The vintage originals are curved where they attach to the wheel.

I think leave em where they are unless the wheels are chitty finish. Play hell removing the weights and glue without removing anodization. Or marring surface in some way.

Wouldn't ya just love to catch the guy before he stuck weights on the wheels. Shake em a lil.

For what it's worth, there's nothing wrong with putting the weights on the outside. Porsche did that on every car, back in the day, when they were built. It's easy to remove a stick-on weight and clean off the glue residue without damaging the anodizing.
