Problems w/B&B headers on 2.2
Hi,
Im thinking about getting a set of B&B headers(w/o heat)and muffler for my 71S Targa. Im just wondering if there any fitment issues with the headers/motor? Just curious, as i want to avoid any problems. Does anyone have any pix on a similar setup? TIA!

The problem w/ the B&B headers is that they only come in 1 5/8" or 1 3/4" both are too big for smaller engines. I would buy a set of SSI (1 1/2") or pre 75 factory headers if I were you. defininetly make sure that stainless stell is used in the construction. A salt(anywhere near an ocean qualifies) environment of any sort will kill regular mild steel exhaust pipes.

Thanks Bill....
Are pre-75 factory headers available without heat exchangers? Im loosing the heat(I dont need it here in HI) in exchange for a little less weight and a little more horses/better sound.

And here's a set on EvilBay w/ megaphones, although they're in Florida and shipping to Hawaii might be expensive...
