SC Gas Filter Questions......
My 1980 SC has a large filter but I was told by a Porsche dealer that there are two versions available: Small dia. and large dia. and that the sizes were changed around the early eighties. My large dia. filter has male/male connections and fits into the holding bracket nicely. (A smaller dia. would not really fit into the holding bracket) Later SC-styles seem to have male/female connections. Does anyone know why all SC-years couldn't have the same filter? What filter, and fittings, do you have on your SC? What is the part number for an '80 SC-Filter? Do larger filters have a better flow capacity or filtering action?
