I'm sure that puppy would fit in my SC.

$32,911
That's a lot of scratch!
(I'd have to have Roland do a PPI on it.)

I saw that motor this morning!

My thoughts got way ahead of me.

How much for a TAG brain/harness? And how much more for an intercooler to make this motor 'comfortable'?

My mouth waters (and funny things happen in my shorts) imagining this motor in my skinny '72 body 911.

As it is with 911s, one things leads to another.

I would need the motor, the brain/harness, 915 cooling, exhaust, new oil cooling, some 911R wheels on the rear . . . and of course I would need to upgrade the interior with sport seats ( yours truly high bidder for the moment: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=596534232&r=0&t=0&showTutorial=0&ed=1003189310&indexURL=0&rd=1 )

And I would need . . . and . . . and . . .

After looking at that motor I feel comfortable considering the modest approach of a nice 964 motor with 50MM PMOs, WebCams and large valve heads, among other things.

Life is short . . . then you get hooked into spending your wad on a 911!

Best to all,

Kurt

$32,000 is just the entry fee. Rebuilds on that thing would cost a nice chunk of change, as well.

Still, it's nice...
