Maybe some special edition 964 or 993? I think the SCRS might have had aluminum panels too. Is there a part number?

They could just as well be from a 964 racing model. The doors are not the same, one has a reinforcement beam while the other has none.
Many of the aluminium parts were shared over several models and years.

Not from any 911, 964 or 993. Most likely from a 959, as suggested.

Judging by the rounded corner on the lower, leading edge they are 959.

Verdict is finally here.
These are 911 SC/RS doors. The corner is modified for whatever reason, probably due to a body kit. They are also now for sale... |

So, how did you come to the conclusion that they were modified SC/RS doors?
I assume the outer skins were aluminum. Was the inner sheet metal stamping aluminum or steel? JR |

Maybe because you didn't know for sure?? Probably isn't a really definitive answer... ![]()

959 mirrors are mounted further back and higher up. Were these areas welded over and 911 mirrors mounted?

The mirror holes in these doors don't match either a 959 or 911SC/RS, so who knows what the reason for the hole location might be, other than some other mirror was mounted.

There is a real 2.5ST who received SCRS doors during the 80s not far from my place. Complicated part was to reach the owner. Then I just had to compare my doors. The doors are 100% in aluminum. It's not only the outer skins. |
