Show Me Your Aftermarket Seats

Take this opportunity to show the community your aftermarket seats. The driver’s seat in my car is in pretty rough shape both side bolsters area fairly warn and one has a 2.5” dia hole in the leather, the pass seat is in great shape though. I’m debating on whether to recover both front seats or replace the seats altogether. So show me what ya got.

Here are my faux-Recaro's:

Though they may not be real Recaros, the look and feel of the interior, and the feedback from the car, is much better than with the stock seats.

What makes you believe that those Recaros aren't the real deal? They look great to my untrained eye.

Here is mine:

Was this or spend $1800 on recovering my sport seats -

I'll probably switch back after I get the sports recovered.

Technically, they are not mine now, but they were at one time.

Here is a shot of the Recaros in the '87 Blue Coupe.

If you are looking more for a replacement street seat instead of a "race type" seat, the PO put a set of leather Cerullo seats into the '87 Targa. Much more comfortable than the stock seats. I don't have a pic handy, but let me know if you would want one from that car.

Sparco Torino's (If memory serves me correct)

Same basic seat as the Milano - except in cloth, and the Milano's have silver plastic trim. Didn't like silver trim so stuck with these. Good seats, -

About 20K on 'em still look and feel like new.

Gary, where did you get these? Tan aftermarket seats are a ***** to find. Or else, I'm not looking in the right places.

I special ordered them from Speedware Motorsports. They had a swatch book of available colors from Recaro. The cost was $50 per seat and it took a couple of weeks but the color match was almost perfect.

Gary, is it just me or does that shift knob look like it's mounted backwards?

It is backwards. In this direction, the bulk of the shifter fell right into my palm. In the "correct" direction I would end up grabbing the side of the shifter or cocking my wrist at a weird angle.

Hey Gary, you need to stop sneaking into my garage and taking pictures.

I was going to post pics of mine but it looks like Gary already did. These seats are awesome BTW. I just have to be careful not to get them dirty.
