Porsche Kontrollierte Qualität or pobada qualidad ??
Just a fun post to ask all pelicans why ever I'm still buying Porsche Original Replacement Parts ??
I just got a new distributor cap from local Porsche dealer and it's from spain... it also has some defects ... The plug wire contact border plastic is all pitted ... not a nasty problem, but I'm wondering about the " Kontrollierte Qualität " meaning. ![]() ![]() |

Much like buying a coil for a 85 Carrera right from the dealer. It is made in Brazil and 50% chance it is no good from the box.

Where it is made does not determine the quality. Manufacturers source from all over the world now, even on new cars. Quality does have to be supervised though.
