Taillight lense screws.

Looking for the taillight lenses screws & those small blue "cushion" washers.

Checked the PET & our host, no joy.

Thanks in advance,

Gerry

I recently got set at the local dealer. Porsche part number is PCG 631 911 01 - this is the black screw with o-ring. Includes 6 screws/o-rings. Not sure of part # for chrome if you need those. Probably the 01 changes to 00 or 02.

Gerry,

Happy to be of assistance. I looked at the PET too but I didn't see this info. I think the parts guy at my local dealer figured it out for me.. I got all the bits to replace the seals on the rear light assemblies too, captive nuts, bolts, drain, screws. A rainy day project - some great threads on here for reference.

Be prepared for the metric ton of dirt lodged behind the housings. When I fired her up the day after re-sealing my tail lights I looked in the mirror to see a massive smoke cloud. My mind immediately went to a blown ring or some such, but I realized a half second later that it was just all the tail light dirt getting blown up in the air by the muffler.

Yes... great opportunity to swap out the seals, which really requires removing the housings as Stig points out.

Make sure you protect the bumper below the lights, as all that dirt will scratch them up good,. I use blue painters tape.

Another potential snag when removing housings is that the nut retainers (captive nuts) for the two screws that hold the housing in may be seized up and the nut will spin within the nut holder. They'll be a pain to get out, then you'll really just need to replace them.

Careful if you pull the light housings, put some blue tape on the bumper shelf....it'll get scratched pretty good. S
