Question for the Wheel Experts - Refinishing

This is for my 944 but since there are so many experts on this forum, I'm seeking advice.

I just purchased a set of Club Sport wheels for my 944. They haven't arrived yet but I'm preparing (in my mind) how I will clean these up. They're in good shape to begin with but not perfect.

Questions:
Does anyone know if these wheels were originally factory anodized or painted?

If I were to get them anodized, would I have to polish them first or is that something that an anodizer would do for me? I'm assuming that any minor curb rash could be sanded out by me.

My other option will be to have them powder coated but I'm looking to achieve a factory look.

Here is an example of the wheels (not mine) and the look I want:

Here's an example of the actual wheels I bought. Notice that there are some blemishes and I don't want this to show thru if they get anodized.

I've only heard of fuchs being anodised. The other Porsche wheels I've seen looked simply painted.
Best is to reach out to maybe Al Reed or another Porsche wheel refinisher.

Cast wheels don't anodize well, the finish is not consistent. I don't know if those wheels are cast or forged. The first picture looks painted to me.

I believe they are forged and anodized wheels. That said, Al Reed can anodize, as can Harvey Weidman.

These wheels are forged aluminum. Just fyi, they are made by Fuchs. I won't know if they are painted until they get here in about a week. I'm leaning towards paint or powder coat.
