Wevo Reverse Lock-out

This may be a dumb question but I can't get my Wevo shifter to slot into reverse. It seems to be shifting fine but I can't get it past the lock out into reverse.

Is there a trick to get it into reverse?

If it won't go into reverse you may need to adjust the coupler to the shift rod, it's under the little panel on the floor between the rear seats. You should mark where it is now before you loosen anything up, so you can go back if needed. You probably just have to adjust the rotation angle, not the depth.

WEVO is the best to ask for this adjustment. They support their product.

Been playing with my Rennshift for the same reason. You have to adjust the rear coupler...in my case just a LITTEL bit.

Adjusting the Wevo shifter is very simple and straight forward due to the spring plane:

The key is to start with the transmission in 3rd gear and let the spring tension of the shifter define the rotational adjustment of the coupler. Put the shifter into third position and back off a little to get the fore aft adjustment right and then tighten everything up. Check 3rd - 4th and redo fore aft if not centered. I did mine and it shifted perfect after the first shot, no grabbing, no issue getting into any of the gears.

Remember the little Allen screw has a tendency to back out if not properly tightened. Happened several times to me until I put some real torque on it.

No, it's the shift coupler fore/ aft adjustment. You need to loosen the pinch bolt and move the shifter. Shift into third or fourth before loosening the bolt.

Hi,

The pin is screwed , you can adjust it easily.

Thank you for the feedback - I made a small adjustment but I think it was largely operator error.
