Have you done a compression test on that engine? You may want to do one.

The muffler install looks fine but if that's a stock motor with stock cam somethings sounds off.

sounds like mine with lots and lots of vacuum leaks including a cracked airbox.

It sound like that on first start but not during driving. Less "bubbly". It runs strong. You guys are freaking me out. Could the install cause damage? It was an easy straight swap.

No damage by the muffler install. Just sounds like a mis-fire or exhaust valve slight leak? It may be just running a bit lean? When you open up the exhaust as you did you can really hear things a lot more than with the stock muffler. Just suggesting you check things out, that burble you hear at idle is not normal on a stock motor.

Is this a 3.0L SC?

I'm sure others will chime in.

+1 lean / miss Sounds like a dragster motor. Check all your plug connections first.

After I drive it, it idles normal. Just at startup. Will post another video soon

Just have your air fuel mixture checked, but if after it warms up if it goes away I suspect lean at cold start. Common problem in the SC cars is cold start and the warm up regulator.

Yeah sounds much better. Any butt dyno improvement? Really interested in getting the same muffler.
