Need help with wing selection
I have a RS 3.6 wing. Anyone have experience with 60" versus 70" bi-wing setup for track use only? Straight versus banana wing. Car is an SC with 3.6 with 17x11's rear Rcomps. Tracks are mainly Willow Springs, Autoclub Speedway Fontana.

The key question is "What do you have on the front end?"
A basic 911 needs a basic spoiler or wing to balance the car so it isn't loose. A duck or whale tail will handle that. When you start to add more spoiler and splitter at the front you will need more rear wing to keep the balance. The rear is much more adjustable so you can balance the car by cranking the wing up but that adds drag. If you have it tilted very far it is probably time to get a wider wing or add more elements to try and increase efficiency. All this doesn't tell you which wing and that comes via experience. "Borrowing" someone else's experience is often the cheapest way so either look for a car that has the same size of splitter as you are running and seems to handle pretty good and copy that as a starting point. Having a relationship with a good race shop will save you time and probably money getting it dialed in. If you don't have a real aggressive spoiler with a splitter then I would stay with just the basic RS 3.8 tail.
