911SC OEM Caliper Specs?

Hey guys,

Trying to design a cool new brake setup for our cars that have limited and expensive options. I need the mount center on the OEM caliper, the piston bore size and the number of pistons. Also the rotor diameter and thickness.

A few of these specs are tough to find reliably on the internet - can anyone help? Thanks!

The hole spacing for the caliper mounts is 3.5 inches on-center. The calipers are two piston with 48mm pistons. Rotor diameter is 282mm and 20mm thick.

The calipers isn't the problem. What's needed is bigger rotors, like the 930s 304x32mm, specially in the front. For the rear 930 rotors are good and unexpensive, but slim and less expensive calipers would be nice.

You really need to model the complete set up.

The interaction between the caliper and the inner diameter of the wheel is an issue as is the diametral position of the mounting lugs on the strut.

I would start by looking at the strut with a hub mounted in place and the smallest wheel you plan to fit in terms of both diameter and ET.

If you want to position the caliper pistons in the same position on the disc then the impact of a re-design may be limited.

A new front hub that would take a rotor from the front, like on the rear, and retain the geometry would be cool.
