Electrical Gremlin
![]() ![]() ![]() First off this problem is in my E30 BMW vert. My gage cluster fuse keeps blowing. I believe I have located the terminal block where these wires all connect. My question is how do I find the wire or wires that are causing the fuse to blow? Any tips? Anything??? Thanks!!! mg

Honestly, we probably will not have a clue, but my guess would be to pull out the DVM and do a resistance test on all wiring to the cluster to find the culprit.
Did you do any modifications or changes prior to this event?

I did change the antilock brake relay. The antilock light was on and this is a common problem. The light is now off......but I wonder.....perhaps I need to look here first.
Thanks

Well I just checked the new relay with a mm and determined it was not responding like my bad relay. I then took my old relay apart and corrosion between the points, cleaned the points and reinstalled. All good now!!! So beware of potential faulty new relays!!
Thanks for the help! Mg
