Engine builders, looking for product advice.
Hello--
It's been a while since I built an aircooled engine. What brand case sealers and assembly lubes are considered the "state of the art" these days? Also, other then elbow-grease, is there a cleaner that removes Permatex case sealer? Thanks, --Papermaker |

The Complete Engine Sealant Thread...
Permatex's gasket remover spray used to work really good on the orange case sealant (Loctite 574) but the next generation low VOC formula kinda sucks & is much weaker. I've had good luck with using Loctite Chisel remover solvent.
