930 fuel check valve

Please only answer this if you KNOW 930s.

I know I have 2 fuel pumps, one in the nose under the tank, but where is the other?

Do both of the pumps have check valves in them? If only one does, which one.

Is this something that can be replaced? or does the whole pump have to be replaced.

Thank you for your help!

GTS,
The rear pump is driver side just in front
of the rear wheel.
The rear pump does have a check valve
built in, it can't be replaced alone.
I'm not sure if the front pump has a valve
in it.
What kind of problems are you having?

Warm start issues.
Sometimes no fire at all until 3rd or 4th try.
When it does fire it is missing badly until you give it some throttle (like its not getting fuel). But once it hits on all 6 runs fine.
Suggestions?

Turn the key on and see if ether of the pumps
are making a growning sound.
If they're making any noise they need replacing.
Also check each pump for leaks.
If you car runs good at high rpm's your fuel pressure
must be ok.
The next thing to check would be the fuel regulator,
it can be re-built.
The only other thing I can think of would be a fowled
plug.
You might run this by Johnny Walker, he's realy good
on this kind of thing!!
Good luck!!
