That's what I am trying to learn how to do. I did just look in my Clymer & Haynes manuels and found that there is a tightening sequence for the frame. anything else I should be aware of? |
If it were my car, I'd remove, clean and lubricate the regulator and make sure the regulator pin is in good shape. When adjusting the window frame, I would be careful of its fit to the door opening in the tub, especially if you move the top of the frame inward.
There are some adjustments; you just have to look at how the frame fits the opening and see where the glass gets tight in the frame to have an idea which direction to go. It's a bit of trial and error. You might double check the door fit and the striker adjustment also. JR |
