rennline pedal set adjustment tips (3.2)
Hi guys. I have my aluminum rennline rev 2 pedal set in place. Nice piece of kit.
(edited to make sense) I am doing some fine tuning of the linkages, but my biggest issue is that I want the gas to be at the same level, or just below the level of the brake pedal when it (the brake) is fully depressed. Right now the gas pedal sits proud to the engaged brake pedal and the aluminum floorboard prevents it from going as low as I would like. I could hack off the top adjustable mount from the back of the gas pedal, but I was wondering if others had more elegant solutions. Thanks for any tips.

Hmmm, I think I would first adjust the pedal for WOT and then go from there. Are the pedal "top plates" adjusted all the way down?

I think I see visualize you are talking about.
This is where I have it now. ![]() I want the pedal to sit deeper, but as I move it back, the "W" shaped mounting bracket then interferes with my aluminum pedal board and prevents WOT. Only solution I can see would be to hack it off. If I move the "W"bracket down a notch, the pedal frame taper around the throttle linkage interferes with it going any deeper than I have in the photo above. I think I have WOT set properly, but I will do a search to make sure I did. Also, while I have your attention, did you have problems fastening the clutch bumper to the aluminum floor-pate? I think I need to add a few washers in as it seems too thin to get a good bite with the oem mounting hardware/fasteners.

Maybe need to adjust the throttle rod so the pedal "base" goes deeper, then adjust the pedal face so the "W" sits higher. Definitely fine adjustments are needed. I need to shorten my pedal rod a bit more as I'm bottoming out on the linkage.
I don't have the floor boards (yet). Todd

Clearance the floorboard so the stop is the limiter.

Which finish did you get, Perforated or Rubber Grip?
I'm just about to pull the trigger but can't make-up my mind but leaning toward Perforated which has a raise grip.

Get rubber grip, you can just pop them out if you want perforated.

the best thing i found that works well for foot grip is if you apply skateboard board tape, works much better than the rubber grip. since rubber grip would actually slip if your shoes/pedals are wet

I too went with the non-perforated rennline floorboard. I figured the weight savings were not worth the grime that would build up back there as I keep it visible in my car. I don't want any risk of carpets binding things given my past sticking accelerator issues.
