Sun roof leak
Hi guys
For some time I have had quite a leak on the left side drainage channel. After cleaning out the drain - hoping each time that the problem would be solved - the leak persisted. Quite annoying.. Today I found out the problem.. At the back of the sun roof cassette under the headlining near the zipper at the back window (where the roof slides inn) there are two stoppers (for the lack of a better word) for the sun roof to stop against when open. The left thingie (again for a lack of a better word) is missing and the water is pouring right through the hole.. Anyone knows what I am talking about? And where I can buy the part? Ciao ! Tobben |

Here's a thread I posted when I had the same problem. The thing that fills the hole is
a black plastic pin from the rear of the aluminum guide rail. The pins sometimes are not reinstalled when a sunroof is out. The pin is just pressed into the guide rail and can fall out! I looked in the PET and the pin is not available separetly from the guide. Perhaps put a WTB on the For Sale forum for a used one. Surely someone has one lying around. The leaking water into my interior drove me nuts! Good luck! Eureka!!! Found rear seat water leak Sunroof related!
