NEED HELP: Seat question

I have a USA model 1974 911 Targa. I found a set of sport seats from a later model 911 (86-89) in the UK from a RHD car. So, here are the questions:

1) Will these later model seats fit in a 1974 or are they too wide?
2) Is it just as simple as turning the current UK passenger seat into my US Driver seat and using the UK driver seat as my passenger seat in my US car? Basically, do the seats really just flip flop as the buyer states? Are they mirror images?
3) The seats in the UK car have the seat belt receiver attached to the seat. In my car, the seat belt receiver is bolted to the floor near the emergency brake. Can I just continue to use my seat belts? Will the seat belt receiver in my car interfere with the width of the sport seats?

The UK sport seats are fully manual with the exception of electric height adjustment. I would need to figure our how to get power to them.

Thanks for the help.

Garage
IR....

1 - Not sure.
2 - Some seats are symetrical but rails and their release mechanisms... they want to stay on original side. Later seats got more complicated with these mechanisims---not sure how that's going to work with 86-89 model.
3 - Belt attached to seat should have bracket where belt attaches to seat with large bolt. Remove bolt. (To remove bracket completely, undue seat cover in that corner and you'll see 2 bolts attaching bracket to seat's frame. Might be that one of those bolts runs through rail attached to seat.)

Also keep in mind that the electric height adjustment switch will be on the wrong side after the swap.
