just thought I'd check in.

I am in an Internet cafe in Doha, Qatar.
It's hot over here.

I've been trying to get on a computer for three weeks now. I just wanted to let everyone know that I am ok and the SC World Domination Plot shall be carrying on uninterupted.

I probably won't be able to respond again for an unknown time.
Can't wait to get home and fix that damn oil leak.

Hey guys, thank you very much for the replies.

It is great to know you are all behind me. One might think that something as trivial as an internet community might never influence a persons life. but let me tell you, when I got online and read all the replies to my "I'm leavin'" post it made me feel absolutely great. You are all good friends of mine and I thank you for that.
Let me tell you what has been going on.
We are building an operating facility here in the desert. All AF personnel are locked up in thretcon Delta and can't leave base. The second day we were here a couple guys hooked us up with an "off base" mission. So the EOD guys get to go off base and live in a condo with hot showers and nice beds in down town Qatar. While the rest of the poor bastards are sitting in Tent city wishing they had laundry service. Today was the last day and we are having a BBQ with some of the Ammo guys and contractors here in this villa. That is the only reason I am able to write right now. So tomorrow it's back to MRE's and living in a tent.
I hope all is well with all of you and that all of the members from NYC have checked in safely.
There is allot that I know and I wish I could tell you all but I'm sure you understand. Just keep watching CNN. And let me just say this:
The first night of bombing in Afganistan...set records.
And there is a HELL of allot going on that the media has no idea of.

You all take care until I get back and promise me that the SCWDP with remain strong.
