Front fan (spal) effectiveness over a trombone cooler
Does anyone have any info of how effective a front fan (spal type) would be over a front passenger trombone cooler with the air scoop aftermarket set up?
Of course the fan with a front radiator cooler is ideal but I was wondering if the fan blowing air over the trombone cooler would help in stop and go traffic. Thanks

Not much. If you're going to go to all that trouble switch out the trombone for a radiator style. Get the whole kit from here or Elephant.
There's considerable discussion on oil coolers and temps here: Oil pressures on track?

+1 won't do much over the trombone type. If you are not going to change it, I suggest in the engine bay to suck in more air when in traffic and it may help with AC cooling too.
Also you want to block of the bottom of the front fender to help keep air on the trombone and not just blowing string down and out.
