Porsche Crest Need some help replacing a front AC Blower in a 1990 C2

Hello:

I need to replace an extremely noisy Front-Left AC Blower in my 1990 Carrera 2 Coupe. It currently has around 85,000 miles. After a thorough search, I identified the blower as Part # 964-572-015-01. A look at the Porsche PET Diagram (Page 469) revealed it is cocooned deeply within the AC/Heating Ventilation Housing located at the far end of the front trunk.

I should be happy the blower is accessible from the trunk, but I've been hesitant to start because of the extremely tight working area and presence of HVAC plumbing.

Before simply diving in in an inefficient or illogical manner, I'd like to ask for some help from a Pro out there who may have written down the sequential steps they used to do it! Any threads or ideas from Pelican, Rennlist or other viewers, would also be highly appreciated.

Thanks

David
