Stereo Wiring Help

I am trying to install an older Blaupunkt back into my car. Unfortunately, I can't just plug in the harness plug because a PO hacked up all the wires to install a newer stereo at some time in the past.

I don't want to burn up the unit, and don't know how to read electrical diagrams (yet), so could someone help me make sure I'm putting wires in the correct place? Also, what is letter D what do I connect to it?

Is this correct?

A: Ground wire
B: Ignition wire
C: Battery wire
D: ??

Possibly + to lighting. Post the model of Blaupunkt and somebody might have the manual.

BTW, I don't have the speaker wires installed yet (waiting on them to arrive), but I hooked the system up that way and it powered right up. So, for anyone else interested, that's the way the wires connect.

You got it correct, now the D is possible that is for illumination. Here is a link for someone who has the same head unit you are installing.

Anybody else feel guilty taking out original radio? - Page 4 - Rennlist Discussion Forums

Just look at the pic with your same diagram, but he also shows the connector and gives what they are for. Hope it helps!
