930 engine management system

I would like help with engine management for a 1984 930 3.4 that been built be the Ruf dealer, Executive Motors in New Jersey. The car has a Zytec engine control and I would like to be able to change the tune if needed or upgrade to a newer programmable system.

I would contact Chris Carroll at Turbokraft in Phoenix.

Is Zytec still a viable option for Porsche air-cooled engines? Their UK website looks like their business focus has changed quite a bit.

There are probably much better engine management systems available today than your Zytec system from the 80s.

Very good idea. From what little I have spoken with Chris, he seems like the guy to talk to, he's built some amazing machines.

A lot of guys go Motec if you have the cash, I'm personally going Haltech.

I'd say if you're not doing it yourself, then go with whatever the tuner recommends. I think Turbokraft does mostly aem infinity nowadays
