Suncoast Parts- Real Fuchs?

I'm considering buying a pair of 9x16" Fuchs from Suncoast. Are these genuine wheel manufactured by FUCH? Any experience with these?

Thanks,
Biagio

Yes

As far as I know they are real Fuchs, but new stock. Fuchs makes a batch of these every so often and sends them around.

That said, being in the market for 9x16s myself, I think they are out of stock and I would write to them first.

Suncoast is an authorized Porsche franchise dealership, and the Fuchs wheels they sell are genuine OE Fuchs.

I bought a oil cooler from them. No BSing around, if its out of stock they tell you straight away rather than take your order and let you know a month or two later that item is NLA or worse. Great to deal with.

another happy suncoast customer -- a roof rack I bought from them for another porsche was damaged (Scratched) in shipment and they took care of both getting me a replacement and dealing with UPS for me immediately -- impressed with how well they handled that situation.

FWIW = there are now very few (one?) non-track tire options available in the 245/45-16 size that work with 16x9 rims, have you considered going with (the nearly identical looking when mounted) 16x8 size that will work with the more readily available 225/50-16 tire size?

Thanks guys. I've checked with them and they are out of stock. They can order but it takes a few months.

16x9 sticks out about 10mm farther from what i understand, and yes looks same as the 8. However I've heard the 245/45 works better on the 9 then sticking that on an 8...Still a variety of 245/16 out there I think?...

245/45/16s work on 8" Fuchs just fine. With RE11s, no bulging out sidewalls or any other issue, they look fine and more importantly, perform as expected.

I bought a pair of 9*16's from Suncoast a few years ago. They are actual Fuchs wheels, the price was right (less than people try to sell used ones for in these classifieds) - and they are new. As previous poster said and it was explained to me, Porsche has batches made every few years and warehouses them, so Suncoast and others can order from stock and sell to consumers.

Good luck!

Wow Fuchs are expensive . . . makes me paranoid about mine. Does anyone here use locking lug nuts?

Legit wheels and company. Great customer service. I run 9s with 245/45 on my 88 and have no issues.

Biagio -- both the 16x9 and 16x8 wheels stick out around 10mm further than the 16x7 -(the additional width of the 16x9 is largely carried inside of the hub) -- as indicated above, there's only one street (non-race) tire available in the 245/45-16 size required for fittament on a 16x9 wheel. Conversely, there are a LOT of options available in the 225/50-16 size that (along with the 245/45-16 size) fit on 16x8 wheels. Hence my suggestion above that you consider 16x8 wheels instead
