Best 964 hot wire maf kit

Hi guys would like to ask, who puts together the best 964 maf kit, as previously posted I have had issues with idle due to lwf, high comp cams etc. have had Darren from auto coupe in Eltham Australia carry out an idle adaption however no luck dud to the mods. I've contacted Steve Wong but have not had any repllys since late last week, any body know of his whereabouts ?
Or any other company's that can provide a chip with hot wire maf.

The 964s motronic DME doesn't like a lot of mods beyond stock. Not a lot of wiggle there. You need something like this. And probably done by a good tuner. Installing it is easy. Tuning is where the money is for a motor like yours.

I'm not familiar with this setup. My 964 runs with custom map and throttle body.
This looks really nice.

Yes I realise the motronics, issues with performance etc, however this is in a early car and trust me it has more than enough go!
My issues relate to idle control, and have been informed that a maf and custom chip will work well together and solve my idle problems. I have contacted Steve Wong, a couple of times with no reply maybe he is on holidays. Essentially what I'm looking for is a nice stable idle, who would have thought it be this hard.

Measure your closed throttle voltage at the TPS and make sure that the WOT switch is functioning properly (probably already did this but I figured it should be mentioned).

Here's a thread on my MAF install on my 964 3.6. My motor is box stock with the exception of a custom chip (was told "Cup2" specs, but could be just hype) and has no idle problems. I do know Steve W makes a chip to compensate for a light flywheel. I think the chip has more to do with idle stability than the MAF, but the MAF seems to have contributed a bit.

The MAF install is a 20 minute simple install and runs and idles more stable than my AFM unit ever did. Also, part throttle acceleration seems to be much smoother with the MAF. Anyway, peruse this thread and make your own judgement.

Just installed a MAF intake kit on my 964/3.6 transplant motor. Simple & awesome!
