Yikes..............I went to my local Porsche dealer to purchase those black multi pronged relays and was advised, "their are ten for your car". I know of one or two near the fuse box area up in the trunk and one or two in the rear near the CD unit. But, where are the others? I have a 1973.5 T and want to freshen the electrical system up, but just where do I find the others? I have looked around and they remain elusive. HELP!!
Thanks Bob |

The dealer parts guy must be using PET. Funny thing is that it list 10 relais for models up to 73, the program even refers to heated front screans. I was not aware of such an option for the older cars.

There are relays behind the dash and in the engine compartment as well. A parts manual should give you an exact description of each one, with a drawing and part # to match up the one you're looking for.

Heated front screens were/are available for early cars. We used to use one in our 911t race car in Europe...stopped the screen misting up and we could disconnect the heating system.
