Tony Euganeo - Porsche Locksmith Service

I would like to ask the board if anyone knows Tony Euganeo. Several weeks ago, I came upon his website after reading through some old posts on this board. I gave the guy a call one Saturday morning and he answered right away, and we had a nice long talk about what it would take to get a set of keys made for my project. I sent him my door handles with locks and ignition switch, and since then, I have not heard anything from him. I was not in a hurry, but when I send every lock/door handle of my car away, I would like to at least have a confirmation that he received them, and some idea on when to expect them back. I have sent several emails, and his phone does not appear to accept voice messages. I really don't know what to do, and I don't wish to disparage this guy, because he did seem to be a genuine guy when we spoke on the phone. If someone knows of his whereabouts or how to get in touch with him, please let me know.

Thanks,

Thomas

I used him about 3 years ago. He did an excellent job. I remember thinking he wasn't very talkative -- probably because he was working -- but I had excellent results.

You can't buy happiness, but you can buy car parts which is kind of the same thing.

I met Tony about 30+years ago. Excellent with all the Porsche keys. He used to be at all the local swap meets cutting keys. He would do the security keys.

how?

Perhaps my post was a little too long. I wasn't looking for a recommendation. I have already sent him my locks. But he has not been answering the phone or email, and it has been several weeks.

If you read through the Registry thread I linked, some people have been waiting years.

Years? Surely that was an exaggeration. Or?

The mods should combine this with the threads on WTF is Al Reed, Rebel Racing, Tony the Key guy, etc.....

Send yer stuff insured, get a receipt then STFU.....

I'm tired of going down to Reed's and finding him in the strip joint next to his shop.

I sent my 356 trans lock to Tony a couple of years ago and he did a good job but is slow as molasis. I was able to talk to him a couple of times and he did not make excuses but said that he had not gotten to them yet. You will get your items back but he is just slow.

If he would just respond/acknowledge that he received my items, that would be acceptable.

He probably didn't respond because he has your items. Try calling him a few more times. This is his line of work and he is not much of a people person I don't think. Don't fret.

Thomas,

I will be dropping my lock tumblers at his house this week and wait for them. PM me the details of what you sent him and will personally follow it up with him. He could be away on vacation. I have to confirm he is available before driving over his place.

Tony

^^^ yep on both..

Just be patient, you'll get your stuff back. Tony, like most of you has a life too. Sometimes the life stuff gets in the way of the hobby goodness.

Having locksmith service is really good as in emergency you can call locksmith whenever you lost your keys or having problems with door locks.
