Fresh Air Foot Vents Printed

Before I could not feel direct air movement on my legs with the fresh air vent on max blower and the slider control for DOWN (vs DEFROST) . This is what the original register looks like. BTW sometimes the tip of my shoe would snag on its corner.
So over the weekend with some time at the computer I designed one with louvers that actually look like a vent. Well, it works and directs a large stream of air at ones legs. With the car in the garage and the blower on max its a huge difference one can feel.
I guess since its also a heater outlet besides just fresh air the vent was designed to be a diffuser. My car has no heater so I want air volume where I can feel it.
The .stl file is available to anyone that wants it, but mind you its an 11 hr job for both.

Another Version of Footwell Vent

How to get fresh air on your body.
Because when the car has air con the fresh air from the cowl vent goes either to the windshield or ones feet. This nozzle replaces the funky shaped foot well diffuser and should throw a blast of air right to the , ahemm, .....I'll say chest. Will test tonight>

Ok, I was looking for the words......you called it but I don't know what that Toyota thing looks like. I guess they know its better to get the crotch cooled than nothing at all!

Finally it WORKS

Blows strong onto the body and felt strong on the face, with the car standing still and just the fan on.

Very nice

Here:

It would be nice if you could rig a diverter so one can divert to the feet in colder weather???

I've been driving around and it works great, so I'm going to a printer to get a quote that's real per part in ABS. We'll see, shouldn't take more than a few days.

How about a replacement for the bow tie vent? Something that points towards the driver?
