Another Question - PMO Install, Oil Breather, Charcoal Cannister

Finishing up the last of my PMO ITB, EFI, & Engine Management System. Unfortunately, since this project has taken sooo long, I have forgotten a few minor details.

Regarding the Oil Breather: This pertains to '74 911
Engine Breather hose goes from top of engine to lower port on oil tank?
Upper port on oil tank goes to original air cleaner, which is now replaced by rain hats. I have ordered an Oil Catch Can but if it's not here by Friday I will install the standard way (taking car to Historics on Friday).

Regarding the Charcoal Cannister:
My original canister had a tiny line that took vapor from the gas thank. The port size on the canister was about 1/8 inch.
The 964 canister has all larger ports (like 12mm of so). Is it ok to just convert the large port to a tiny port (via hose reducers)?
The 964 canister has one port that goes to atmosphere but the original '74 style plugged into the fan shroud. I'm assuming this helped "push" the vapors thru. Should I be routing the 964 canister atmosphere port to the fan shroud?

Any advice would be appreciated.
