Key fitting
Hey guys I bought this key head of pelican hoping it would sit straight in but doesn't look like it.
Anyone had experience with these? If so what's the best way to get it fitted?

You have the wrong key type for that head.

That is a Valet or emergency key:
![]() You need this one for that head, just order one and have it cut at an old skool lock smith. Do not go to the big box chains with the autobot machines, they do not cut properly. Remember the head has a lock that needs to be removed before you slide in the blank.

I have used a dremel to cut down a key to fit. But I had a spare to make a line drawing to do so. So, if someone can do that for you.
