Euro Pre-Muffler
Just a quick post to show the install/effects of this swap. I know it's nothing new, but maybe this info will help other newbies when they search on the subject.
Bought and installed a used Euro Pre-Muffler today. Removing the stock Catalytic Converter was my main goal, as well as not adding any additional sound. Very satisfied with the results, and the butt-dyno seems to feel like the car is a little more "free-to rev" or just slightly more responsive. Exhaust note is almost identical at idle, and just a tad more throaty under spirited accel. I think under normal driving, you'd never notice the difference. Took a couple videos to compare the sound before and after, as well as a few pics of the O2 sensor relocation. There is no bung for the O2, so that has to be added. I feel the only place it should be is where it gets a true reading of each cylinder bank, so that leaves you to place it at the end of the new pre-muffler. In order to do this, you need to lengthen the O2 sensor wires about 13"-14" Took about 3.5 hours start to finish. https://youtu.be/lV09CTxjhFI
