Custom Google Search for Pelican Forums
Used this search engine this AM. Pulled it up out my bookmarks a few minutes ago and the search box has disappeared. Gone for good? or just down for repairs? Great time saver. Hope it comes back soon!

huh? all you have to do to search the forums via google is use this format:
search phrase site:forums.pelicanparts.com |
You mean the one in this link?

If I want Google to pinpoint a search in Pelican, I just type, "pelican [search topic]", without the brackets. E.g. pelican motormeister. Then settle in for a 7 hr. read. :-)

This is the one I have been using (a fellow Pellican set it up a while back). It worked perfectly just a moment ago...
https://cse.google.com/cse/publicurl?cx=014238775269149376701:ojolaky8hjg Can't seem to copy and paste it so it comes up. The link above opened on my iPad; I just did a copy and paste here and this funky message appears. |
Fanaudical---yours is the one I have been using. It now comes up without the search phrase box.

Just use Google Advanced Search! Go to Google main screen, in lower right click "Settings", then "Advanced Search". In the Advanced Search screen enter your search argument, then in "site or domain" copy and paste the url from the page/forum you want to search, then click search. Easy peasy, try it, you'll be amazed!

Weird - that link comes up with the search box when I use it. Maybe try a different browser or clear cookies on your current browser?
Google advanced search works, too. |
Use fanatical. His really works the best. It's the only way I search this forum.
