Thermo-Switch & Throttle switch questions

1981 SC ....I measured 24 ohm's 1 side to ground, 0 on the other and 24 ohm's across, does it matter which side the wires go to, I don't understand the Bentley schematic, Also same question for the throttle switch. Confirmed it goes off and on, but not clear on the brown/ green wires, which side goes where. I don't think this one matters but I'll ask anyways.

Thanks much,SteveSmileWavy

yes it does matter.
I think the terminal on the TTS are sized so the wires fit accordingly.
one wire is the actual ground for the CSV. that goes to the 0 ohm terminal.
the other wire is a power wire to the heat the TTS to limit the amount of time the CSV can run.

brn goes to the common terminal on the TS.
according to the drawing gr goes to terminal 2 and bl goes to 3.
don't know for sure but 2 may be closed at idle.
it does matter one wire is looking for ground at idle, the other at WOT.

Thank you T77911S, can you clarify the TS please, if I'm looking at the switch from the fan, which side gets the brown wire, driver side and the brown to the other side? I will check out the TTS and see if the terminals are same size, that would make it a lot easier:)
Cheers,Steve

TTS has yellow on small terminal, red/black on larger terminal.

Thank you gentlemen, The TTS is as you say, different sizes,.. idiot proof :) Now on the TS, I only have 2 wires, brown and green. I finally noticed that there are numbers on the top of the switch and I had reversed them, I now have the brown on terminal 2 (driver side). What would this have caused or hindered? Haven't started it yet, still at a partial engine drop stage.

Thanks again:)
