help decoding my engine #6292249
i have a project car that has the engine # 6292249 and i'm having trouble figuring out if it had weber carbs or mechanical injection. from what i found it's from a 1969 911E (i think).
can anyone help confirm? |
E's were injected.

However, number 629XXXX can also refer to a 79 SC engine. Check the engine number. A 69 will have a 901/xx number and a 79 will have a 930/xx number. |
how can i confirm this?

In the pic below, the green arrow points to the location of the serial number, and the red arrow points to the location of the engine type number. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1297769201.jpg If you want to confirm the possibility that the 629xxx could be a 69 or 79, you can reference this site: Fahrzeug-Identifizierung |
