Largest wheels/tires for a '74?

What are the largest wheels that will fit on a '74 (narrow body) without needing to roll fenders?

When I bought my '74 Targa it had 6X15 in front and 7X15 rear. No rubbing. I went with 6X16 front and rear to be able to rotate the tires and for a better choice of tires.
Tire size might help: 205X55X16

I currently have Carrera Fuchs on my '74 without any rubbing. 16x6 with 195/55/16 and 16x7 with 205/50/16.

I am going to add 16x8 951 Fuchs which are the only 16x8 Fuchs that will fit the rear of the narrow flairs. 951 Fuchs are different than 911 Fuchs because 1/2 of the extra width is added at the inside edge where the 911 Fuchs have all the extra width added to the outside edge. The 951 16x8 will enable me to use a 225/16/50 tire

I sourced a set of 16x6 Fuchs (SC fronts) and run them with 205/50's on all four corners. Those are my "track day" wheels and tires. Ride is okay for short hops on the street, but pretty harsh for everyday.
For every day I run the original 6x15's with 206/60's.
Car is lowered a bit to roughly "Euro" height.

my '75 currently has 6x15 and 7x15 with 205/60/15 and 215/60/15 tires. car is quite low, and is a tight fit in the rear and need negative camber to avoid rubbing. no rolled fenders. car is about to get some 951 fuchs i have with 205/55/16 and 225/50/16 RE11's, and i plan on having to massage the rear fenders just a bit. as i understand it, the lips will likely be fine, there may be some rubbing a little further up in the fender depending on the ride height i go with. we'll see in a few weeks when my tires come in.

tidy buoy, i'm just down the 99 from ya, we should compare notes. curious how this fit is going to be...
