First year 911 Impact bumper question

Hi, Can anyone tell me or refer to to an article on the differences between the first production year 911 G model (1974) and the 1975 on? Ive heard there were less smog restrictions on the 1974 and some other small differences . Thank you for your time

Most differences are out there with a little searching.

An arcane one. The rain gutters at rear of car are tapered on 75, straight up on 74.

I've heard it said that people were complaining that pop out rear windows were made optional in 74 so all 75 models received them standard.
