loose wire at back of 911 engine

Hello,

Hello,

I had someone revise my 1982 911 3.0sc engine. AFterwards, I noticed a single wire apparently to be disconnected. It is near the throttle and tire-wrapped to the other cables. Anyone some ideas?
Thanks
Bas

Another shot.......

Bas,

Could you try another shot? Get something with better focus so we could identify this mysterious wire. Send a PM to Timmy2 (Dennis P.) he's very familiar with these engine wire harnesses.

I don't know about the wire, but I do like the bottle cap.

I think that goes to the temp sensor in the breather cover for the warm up enrichment. It's going to be a pain to get to that. You'll probably have to take the rubber boot off the CIS.

That would be my first choice.
