Try Gran Turismo. Talk to Kieren. On Shallowford Drive in Doraville. About 3 exits inside the perimeter off of 85. Don't have number handy but they're listed. Grimey shop but you'll be impressed with the clientele they attract. Will do high speed balance on the car too.

True- but they send it out for alignment and I hate the thought of my car being driven to another shop. Butler is probably the best for tires alignment, and balance, although there is a shop in Roswell that is supposed to be great... just can't remember the name. Anyone?

Tires go to Butler, or order them from Tire Rack. Balancing, if you want them balanced on the car then Grand Turismo is the place. Alignment, Butler Tire is a good choice.

I also found a place on 29 north of JC BVD that does an excellent job on alignment. New high tech machine, the guys that run the shop are into racing so they know what alignment is all about and the kicker is it only cost $55.00.

I watched as they did the alignment and if I questioned something, they had the answers. If you are interested, I can get you the name and number.

I have a buddy that owns a Goodyear Store on Hwy 92. He just put a set of 4 Eagle F1's on my 87 cab for about $790 mounted and balanced. His name is Joe Houdeshell at 770-928-7363. He is very knowledgeable and friendly.

What I did is shopped Road and Track and Car & Driver to select the same but less expensive tires and had them shipped to Proformance Place (Reggie) in Marietta who mounted and balanced them. He has an alignment unit as well..........overall I saved $$$$$ He has an excellent facility and I was pleased overall with the work. Compare prices. By the way I learned alot in discussing the factory fuchs on my car. Interestingly, he showed me the serial numbers for authentication and addressed the additional metal on one portion of the wheel during the forge process that required counter balancing.

Regards
Bob

You are wrong about Grand Turismo!

They do EVERYTHING in house. Typically when my 930 or 7 series is in for work, I'm right there under the car with Jeff, one of the co-owners, absorbing anything I can from them.

You will not be disapointed.
