My biggest screwup: Late for work. Jump in Jeep in garage. Look behind me, all clear, throw in reverse, drive right thru the garage door! The glass windows of the garage door we the exact same height as the rear glass on my jeep. In my rush I forgot to raise the garage door! On my new garage door, I deleted the window option.

Yelcab1...
I did not do this...but my spouse did! I had my nice Trek 5500 road bike mounted on the roof of my van and after returning from a big race I didn't feel like pulling it down...so I went inside and took a nice nap. A few hours later my spouse wakes me up to tell me the bad news, she had taken the van to the bank and the bike was not able to clear the roof over the drive through! $4K bike destroyed, $1.5K worth of damage to the damn bank roof and another $850 worth of damage to the roof of my van! It's just a fact that bad things will happen. |
I am now laughing my ass off,its amazing what we can do with our vehicles! Thanks to all,it has made this error in judgement much easier, but I am still looking for a passenger door pocket!

Late for work, had a couple inches of paperwork on the roof (just done the night before) and drove off to work, a lot of windy roads. Got to a stop sign about 1/4 the way there and see all these papers flying left and right. Had to walk around and pick up every one. Luckily it wasn't too busy...

Ready for a big PCA auto-x w/ the pre-race jitters. I brought mt Dad along and he proceeded to "help" me clean out my car. He lays my tarp and gear, including my Targa top in front of the car (i usually lay it in the back). I get a call that I'm up on deck, so I hop in my 911... drive forward and run right over the fresh targa top. Oh *****! I still raced and got second! I thought I deserved to have some fun after that mishap. I love comprehensive insurance.
