Mystery Wires in the Frunk
Hello all super sleuths,
89 3.2L Targa. I saw these mystery wires in the frunk today. I looked in vain for the other side of this connector. The wires (2) appear to be yellow and brown in color. The wires are coming from a bundle near the gas cap filler tube. I cannot trace their source though. I do not notice any performance issue by this being disconnected. Anyone know what this is? Thanks. ![]() ![]()

I'm told that Porsche had one standard wiring harness for all cars in this era, and these loose plugs are for accessories yours didn't have. Mine has a few of them visible.

It goes to the intensive windshield washer pump. Using the correct year wiring diagram the power wire is YE/WT (yellow with white strip) and BR (brown).
Discussed here as well. Another mystery connector... |
