Anyone own a bendpak mds-6k lift??
Was wondering if anyone could give me some feedback on the bendpak mds 6k. Been looking at lifts have lower ceiling and thought this mid rise open center might be a good option. Thanks

Never pulled the trigger but did tons of research!
Bendpak lowrise pit style lift vs. midrise scissor lift I think I would go for the model by Revolution as it had more safety stops than the bendpak, seems helpful for shorter ceilings.

Im not interested in a traditional scissor, only open center mid rise ( two platforms) can't afford one that goes up 70 inches. That's why I was looking for feedback on the mds, it rises 40 inches with two seperate scissors.

Get off my lawn!
|
![]() ![]() I do and I love it. I put it in a pit to make daily parking much easier. Last weekend I was tinkering in the engine compartment. No real NEED to raise the car, but to get everything to a comfortable working height was wonderful. I did not have to squat or bend over and kill my knees and back. Somewhere on Pelican I have a thread on my lift. I just mounted the pump to my wall since the lift is in a pit and not portable anymore. It is a toss up of the garage air conditioner or the lift as the best improvement to my garage. The bathroom in the garage was there when we moved in. That is the reason I was willing to move. I just checked, mine is the MD 6XP.

We also have the roll-up race ramps and even more here: Race Ramps - PelicanParts.com. Also, are you wanting a lift of that caliber or have you also looked into the QuickJack option? Maybe check it out and see if it could give you what you need. It's also mobile so you can move it out of the way once you're done. Can check out the thread with info and individuals comments about it below. Just a thought on another option for you to look into.

I want an open center lift that goes up at least 40 inches. Quick Jack won't work for me.

Have you researched MaxJax?
It's a pretty neat solution. You'd have to have at least 8 foot ceilings. I was looking at scissor lifts too until I saw the Max. |
